Jeremye “Super Jay the DJ” Vallot was born and raised in Houston, TX. Being exposed to the art of deejaying and music at a young age sparked his desire to become a disc jockey. Upon graduating from high school, he purchased his first set of DJ equipment and began working the underground music scene while attending college at Sam Houston State University and currently Texas Southern University.
Graduating with a Degree in Mass Communications has enabled him to learn the concept of mass media, marketing, and promotion. He has experience in hosting, content development, and public relations through his 2-year internship with 90.5 the Kat.
Not only has he interned at 90.5 the Kat, he was an on air host, disc jockey which include live mixing and board operator at 90.9 KTSU the Choice and currently at the Core94 Online Radio Station. Some of Jeremy’s other responsibilities include: weekly news post updates to the station’s site and assisting with concerts and events within the Core 94 network. He also worked with Score More Shows on their marketing team promoting various concerts as well as assist with sales.
Jeremye’s hard work and dedication has aided him in being the opening DJ at concerts for heading artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, Plies, T.I., Drake, Kevin Gates, and Casey Veggies. His DJ credentials include: Official GODJ, Official PartyBoyDJ, Official LADdjz, Omega Delta Phi Official DJ, Texas Southern California, and Club Official DJ. His signature drop “Hey Super Jay” has become a trademark sound that can be heard in college parties and clubs all over.
